Principal Insights Analyst

Key Responsibilities

- Lead strategic analysis and deliver actionable insights that support business decision making.
- Translate complex data into explicit, compelling stories for executive and operational stakeholders.
- Partner with teams across Finance, Marketing, Operations and Digital to solve business challenges through data.
- Drive market and competitor analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities.
- Improve reporting efficiency through automation and scalable analytical frameworks.
- Develop and maintain engaging Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Mentor and coach analysts, promoting best practice and continuous improvement across the analytics team.
- Support data governance initiatives, ensuring high standards of data quality and consistency.

Qualifications and Experience

- Extensive experience in analytics, business intelligence or insights roles.
- Experience using Power BI, Python, SQL, PySpark, Microsoft Fabric or equivalent tools to analyse data, automate workflows and deliver reporting and analytical solutions.
- Advanced Excel modelling capabilities.
- Experience working with large,



complex datasets and building automated reporting solutions.
- Exceptional communication and data storytelling skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
- Experience mentoring or coaching analysts.
- A focus on continuous improvement, data quality and governance.
- Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
- Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
