Erindale Leisure Centre, formerly known as Active Leisure Centre, offers a wide range of health, fitness, and recreational facilities, including a 25m heated indoor pool and steam room, group fitness studios with Les Mills, freestyle, cycle, and aqua classes, gym facilities and personal training, swim school for children, tennis, squash, badminton, basketball, volleyball, and indoor soccer courts, multi-purpose sports hall and private group training space, and function rooms and theatre for events and hire. It’s a vibrant community hub catering to all ages and fitness levels.

The Role

Erindale Leisure Centre is looking for energetic, confident and motivated people to join our Swim School team.

The Swim Teacher delivers swimming lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities. Successful applicants will be effective communicators who demonstrate a strong attention to detail.

You will possess strong time management and organisational skills,



as well as the ability to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision. Relevant industry qualifications are essential.

Skills & Attributes

- Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team

Qualifications

- Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
- Working with Vulnerable People & National Police Check
- Current Swim Teaching Certificate
