Strategy Manager

Location: Sydney (Hybrid)

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 + Bonus An exceptional prospect has arisen to join a high-growth, private equity-backed SaaS business at a pivotal stage of its growth journey.

Following several strategic acquisitions and continued international expansion, the business is seeking a commercially minded Strategy Manager to work closely with the CFO and executive leadership team on the company’s most important strategic initiatives.

This is a highly visible role with broad exposure across corporate strategy, M&A; integration, operational improvement, AI transformation and international growth.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will partner with senior stakeholders across the business to drive strategic decision-making and execution.

Responsibilities will include

- Developing and executing strategic initiatives that support the company’s growth objectives.
- Leading workstreams relating to post-merger integration (PMI) following recent acquisitions.
- Building financial and commercial models to evaluate strategic opportunities.
- Identifying operational improvements and productivity initiatives across the business.
- Working cross-functionally with Product, Technology, Finance and Operations teams.
- Supporting market expansion into new geographies.
- Leveraging agentic AI tools to automate workflows, improve decision-making and increase organisational efficiency.




- Preparing board-quality presentations and strategic recommendations for senior leadership and investors.
- Driving special projects across commercial, operational and corporate functions.

About You We’re looking for an intellectually curious, commercially astute individual who enjoys solving complex business problems and executing at pace.

You will likely have

- 2–5 years’ experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, private equity or a comparable strategic role.
- Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within high-growth technology or SaaS businesses is advantageous.
- Exposure to mergers, acquisitions and post-merger integration (PMI) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience using agentic AI platforms and workflow automation tools to improve business outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A bias towards action with the ability to operate in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
