About the Role We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Student Health Promotion Officer to join our team.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health, wellbeing, and success of a diverse student community at UNSW College. As the Student Health Promotion Officer, you will develop and deliver engaging health promotion programs and initiatives that empower students to thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally. This is an exciting prospect to influence student wellbeing through innovative, evidence-based programs that enhance the overall student experience and support students to achieve their full potential.
Your day to day will consist of: Develop and deliver engaging health education resources, campaigns, and workshops on a range of wellbeing topics, including sexual health, nutrition, stress management, and alcohol and other drug awareness, to promote healthy behaviors and support student wellbeing.
Lead the design and delivery of innovative, evidence-based health promotion initiatives that inspire healthy behaviors, build resilience, and empower students to thrive.
Work closely with UNSW stakeholders and UNSW College stakeholders such as Human
Resources, teaching staff, student representatives, as well as external partners to foster a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to health promotion and prevention initiatives
Stay current with research, best practices,
and emerging trends in health promotion and prevention to continuously enhance and refine the College's health initiatives and services.
Collaborate with academic and professional teams to achieve organisational objectives.

Understanding of Student development and the unique challenges of international and domestic students A strong understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as those related to student privacy and confidentiality.
Experience in health promotion, prevention, or a related field
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
