The role

We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Solution Architect to join our growing team. This senior, client-facing role will define solution architectures, develop strategic roadmaps and guide clients from their current HR and payroll environment toward a practical, scalable and integrated future state. You will combine deep SuccessFactors expertise with strong business and consulting skills to translate client strategy into technology requirements, balancing ambition with delivery feasibility, risk, cost and value.

Working closely with clients, Libertas advisory and delivery teams, SAP and alliance partners, you will provide architectural leadership from discovery and solution shaping through design, implementation and ongoing optimisation.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the development of SAP SuccessFactors solution architectures, strategies and multi-year transformation roadmaps.
- Assess clients’ current HR, payroll, workforce management, integration, data and technology environments.
- Define future-state architectures aligned with client business strategy, employee experience objectives and SAP’s product direction.
- Facilitate discovery workshops with executives, HR leaders, payroll teams, technology stakeholders and business representatives.
- Translate business requirements into practical solution options, architecture principles and investment recommendations.
- Design integrated solutions across relevant SuccessFactors modules, SAP platforms and third-party applications.
- Advise clients on cloud transformation, solution standardisation, process simplification and adoption of SAP best practices.
- Develop options papers, architecture documents, roadmap presentations, business cases and executive recommendations.
- Establish architecture governance,



design standards and decision-making frameworks for transformation programs.
- Provide architectural oversight during implementation to ensure delivery remains aligned with the approved solution and roadmap.
- Identify architectural dependencies, risks, constraints and opportunities early in the engagement lifecycle.
- Support proposals, client presentations, solution demonstrations, estimates and other pre-sales activities.
- Work with project managers, functional consultants, integration specialists, data teams and technical architects to create cohesive end-to-end solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with client executives and act as a strategic adviser throughout their transformation journey.
- Contribute to the development of Libertas intellectual property, reusable accelerators, reference architectures and market offerings.
- Coach and mentor consultants, helping strengthen architecture and SuccessFactors capability across Libertas Solutions.

About you You will be experienced SAP SuccessFactors professional who can move comfortably between business strategy, enterprise architecture and detailed solution design. You communicate complex concepts clearly and bring structure to ambiguous or challenging transformation environments.

You combine robust technical credibility with commercial awareness and understand that the best architecture is not simply technically sound—it must also be achievable, supportable and aligned with the client’s priorities.

Skills and experience

- Significant experience designing and delivering SAP SuccessFactors solutions in complex organisations.
- Demonstrated experience as a SuccessFactors Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Lead Consultant or similar senior role.
- Strong knowledge across multiple SuccessFactors capabilities, ideally including Employee Central and relevant talent, workforce or employee experience modules.
- Understanding of SAP payroll solutions, including Employee Central Payroll and/or SAP HCM Payroll, would be highly regarded.
- Experience developing HR technology strategies, target-state architectures and phased transformation roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of integrations,



data architecture, security, identity management, reporting and the broader SAP ecosystem.
- Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP’s cloud architecture principles would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting large-scale HR, payroll or enterprise transformation programs.
- Ability to facilitate senior stakeholder workshops and communicate effectively with both executive and technical audiences.
- Strong consulting, analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills.
- Experience preparing proposals, estimates, solution options and executive-level recommendations.
- Relevant SAP SuccessFactors certifications are desirable.
- Experience within the Australian market and an understanding of local HR and payroll environments would be highly regarded.
