Are you an A-Grade Licensed Electrician with experience maintaining production machinery within a manufacturing environment?
Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team on a permanent night shift. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well‑established food manufacturing business offering long‑term stability, a supportive team environment and a competitive hourly rate.
Previous food manufacturing experience is not essential. However, applicants must have experience maintaining machinery within a manufacturing or industrial production setting.
Please note: We're seeking electricians with hands‑on maintenance experience within manufacturing or industrial production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimise downtime
- Complete planned maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules
- Fault find across electrical control systems and production equipment
- Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and commissioning
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements
- Work collaboratively with Production and Maintenance teams to maximise equipment reliability
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
- Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (Essential)
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician within a manufacturing or industrial production environment
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- PLC fault‑finding experience will be highly regarded
- Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
