- Josil General Engineering Aus Pty Ltd is hiring a Full time Metal Fabricator role in Smeaton Grange, NSW.
- Studying engineering drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
- Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock
- Performing MIG, STICK and TIG welding
- Operating of milling and lathe machine
- Operating automatic pinch rolls machine
- Organise and supervise the daily operations of the workshop
- Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
- Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand tools and 80 tonne brake press machine
- Cold saw cutting and guillotine cutting
- Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions




- Carrying out visual inspection welding reports for quality assurance of our manufactured products
- Designing program instructions and developing coding for CNC Bodor i7 laser cutting machine
- Gain knowledge of fabricating over 500 different product and follow technical drawings for bespoke products
- Drivers license

Skill & Experience

- Experience required: AQF Certificate III including at least two yearsemployment experience or minimum 3 years employment experience may substitute for qualification;
- Excellent welding skills of all types for all materials
