We are looking for a proactive HR Advisor to join our People & Culture team.

This is a hands‑on advisory role with strong variety. You will provide first‑level HR support across employee relations, performance, employment conditions, contracts, people processes and frontline leader coaching. You will also support key HR projects, including our HRIS implementation, process improvement, documentation uplift and practical leader resources.

This role would suit someone who is ready to step into a broader advisory role, enjoys working close to the business and is confident balancing day‑to‑day HR support with project delivery.

What You’ll Do

- Provide first-level advice to managers and employees on routine HR, ER, conduct, probation and performance matters.
- Coach managers on expectations, documentation, early intervention and performance conversations.
- Support routine performance or conduct meetings where HR guidance is required.
- Prepare and review employment contracts, variation letters, salary letters and other employee documentation.
- Provide advice on policies, employment conditions, leave, classifications, modern awards and internal people processes.
- Work with recruitment, payroll, WHS and operations to resolve people matters accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain clear, factual and confidential employee records, case notes and HR documentation.
- Support frontline leader capability through short learning sessions, guides, templates and toolkits.




- Escalate complex, sensitive or high-risk matters early to the relevant HR Business Partner.
- Identify opportunities to simplify HR processes, improve templates and create more consistent ways of working.
- Contribute to key HR projects and initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR, HR Advisor or strong HR Coordinator role.
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or a related discipline with demonstrated HR experience.
- Experience providing practical HR advice to managers and employees.
- Exposure to routine ER, conduct, probation, performance or case management matters.
- Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation, the NES and modern awards.
- Experience preparing contracts, variations and employee lifecycle documentation.
- Confidence supporting frontline or operational leaders.
- Experience working with award‑covered, casual, dispersed or multi‑site workforces is highly regarded.
- Clear written communication and sound judgement.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and ability to identify risk early.
- A continuous improvement mindset and interest in better ways of working.
