About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and experienced Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing team at our Coolamon, NSW site.
This is a diverse role where you'll be involved in manufacturing a wide range of quality steel products for the agricultural industry and beyond. From livestock handling equipment through to custom fabrication projects, you'll take pride in building products that are used by customers across regional Australia.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Manufacturing rural gates, stock panels and livestock handling equipment
- Fabricating feeders and other agricultural products
- Building custom and non-standard fabricated steel items
- Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
- MIG welding, cutting and fabrication
- Operating workshop equipment safely and efficiently
- Working as part of a close-knit team to deliver high-quality products on time
About You
To be successful in this role you'll have:
- Previous welding and metal fabrication experience
- The ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
- Pride in producing quality workmanship
- Strong attention to detail
- A positive attitude and excellent work ethic
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A current Forklift Licence is preferred. If you don't already have one, we're happy to assist the right applicant in obtaining their licence.
- A current driver’s license
