The Butcher Club is a successful retail butcher chain with shops across metropolitan Melbourne. We are looking for additional staff to join our friendly and hardworking team at our Blackburn and Forest Hill stores.

There are currently Full Time/Part Time and Casual positions available as a Cashier / Customer Service in our Blackburn and Endeavour Hills store.

This role is customer-facing and perfect for someone who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced retail workplace.

Reporting to the Store Manager, your role will be to use your superior customer service skills to ensure customer needs are met. In addition, you will be trained in other food preparation duties including the preparation of our specialist value added products.

About the role

- Serving customers at the counter
- Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions
- Assisting with product enquiries




- Packing orders and maintaining displays
- General cleaning and maintaining a tidy shop

About you

- Previous retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
- Friendly, well-presented and confident with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work weekends and busy periods
- Comfortable handling cash and POS systems
