It is mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of lithium-ion batteries, providing solutions for recent energy vehicle power and smart energy storage, and working with customers to accelerate the global green energy transformation.

The company has R&D; centers in Shanghai, Wenzhou and Jiaxing, and production bases in Wenzhou, Jiaxing, Liuzhou, Foshan, Chongqing and Indonesia. By the end of 2024, the total production capacity will be 79GWh, and it is expected that the production capacity will reach 90GWh+ in 2025.

In 2024, REPT BATTERO's energy storage battery cell shipments rank fifth in the world, its household storage energy storage battery shipments rank second in the world, its lithium iron phosphate power battery cell shipments rank sixth in China, and its new energy heavy‑duty truck model installation volume rank third.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced, commercially sharp Senior Delivery Manager to own end-to-end delivery of REPT BATTERO’s utility-scale BESS projects. REPT BATTERO is a global lithium battery OEM, founded in 2017 and backed by Tsingshan Holding Group — a Fortune Global 500 company (ranked 247th in 2025) and one of the world's largest nickel and stainless steel producers. This is a foundational hire into REPT's Operations & Deployment function, which is being built from the ground up across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas — you will help establish delivery process and governance alongside running live projects, not inherit an established PMO.

Reporting to the Global Head of Deployment during early build-out; you will support our portfolio of BESS projects, from Deployment handover through Commercial Operation Date (COD) and handover to Operations & Maintenance (O&M;).

REPT delivers under two scope models and this role needs to support both:

- DC Block, where you own the program-management from delivery and up to COD, supporting the teams who execute it; and
- AC Block (broader “wrapped” scope), where REPT’s scope extends beyond the DC Block into AC integration solutions, where we are wholly responsible for the full implementation of the solution.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Scope Management

- Program-manage the DC Block outright:

own delivery and commissioning program governance — scheduling, resourcing, and milestone accountability across HIL, FAT, energisation sequencing, and BMS interlocks — from factory through site energisation, directing the technical and commissioning teams who execute it.
- Act as REPT’s Delivery Manager at the integrator’s Hold Points for the DC/AC interface: confirm DC Block readiness against the commissioning team’s test results and sign off before the integrator proceeds.
- Hold the DC/AC scope boundary precisely: know exactly where REPT’s supply obligation ends and where the integrator’s begins, and manage SLA and warranty exposure — including boundary-of-supply disputes (battery vs. system) — accordingly.
- Support coordination with Product Engineering, Commercial, Sales Engineering, Project Engineering, Commissioning, Site/Construction, HSE, and Logistics to drive design-to-delivery execution.
- Own schedule creation, baselining, and maintenance (MS Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet) across manufacturing, logistics, and site sequencing.
- Own risk and issue management, including DOR (division-of-responsibility) misalignment and interface agreements with the third-party integrator.
- Own progress reporting, executive reporting cadence, RFI (request for information) management, and equipment traceability — building these where no established process yet exists.
- Build working relationships with internal stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, Logistics, Finance, Commissioning, Service) and external customers/integrators across the project lifecycle.
- Communicate scope limitations transparently and manage customer expectations proactively — the DC/AC boundary protects REPT’s delivery commitment;
- Partner with Legal/Commercial on scope interpretation, variation claims, and exposure arising from DOR misalignment.
- Develop customer relationships that support retention and repeat business, improving customer lifetime value.

HSE & Compliance

- Operate within WHS/PCBU (Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking) obligations, including coordination with the Principal Contractor’s WHS plan and oversight of exclusion-zone protocols during live DC energisation.

Function Build-Out

- Act as a founding member of the Deployment PM function: help establish templates, tooling, and governance as headcount scales, and mentor future hires.
- Other duties as required, consistent with the seniority and scope of this role.

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management,

or related field; equivalent industry experience with demonstrated delivery track record considered.

Experience

- 8+ years direct project/delivery management experience delivering complex capital equipment, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
- 5+ years specifically in utility-scale BESS, renewables, or large-scale electrical equipment delivery.
- Demonstrated experience managing scope/interface boundaries in a multi-party delivery environment — has run projects as both a DC Block-only supplier and a broader-scope (AC-inclusive) integrator.
- Experience supporting a commissioning function or technical delivery team at a program-management level — scheduling, resourcing, and holding teams accountable to milestones — rather than performing hands-on commissioning execution personally.
- Comfortable in a startup/scale-up environment: building process without an established PMO, high tolerance for ambiguity, self-directed.

Technical Skills

- Deep knowledge of BESS architecture: DC Block (battery modules, BMS, thermal, PCS-side wiring) and AC Block (PCS/inverters, MV transformers, switchgear).
- Working knowledge of commissioning processes and terminology: HIL, FAT, SAT, energisation sequencing, and Hold Points/ITPs.
- Familiarity with utility-scale RFP/tender processes and construction/EPC management principles.
- Proficient in MS Project or Primavera P6, Smartsheet, and MS Office.

Required Licenses & Certifications

PMP or PRINCE2 Foundation/General Construction Induction (White Card) or equivalent/ BESS/Lithium-Ion Battery Safety awareness (OEM-aligned)/First Aid at Work or equivalent

/HSE/ NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely Preferred

Personal Attributes & Behavioural Expectations

- Self-starter: builds process and governance without waiting for an established PMO; proactively resolves issues before they elevate.
- Ambiguity tolerance: comfortable making sound delivery decisions in a function that is still being built out.
- Ownership mindset: takes end-to-end accountability for delivery outcomes — cost, schedule, quality, safety — across both DC Block and AC Block scope models.
- Communication discipline: clear, structured reporting and customer communication without prompting; explains scope boundaries as a feature, not an apology.
- Commercial pragmatism: understands where REPT’s contractual exposure sits and protects it without damaging the customer relationship.
- Language: Mandarin Chinese proficiency highly regarded, given regular liaison with China HQ.

Working Conditions

- Based on the Eastern Seaboard of Australia — Melbourne or Sydney preferred; flexible for the right candidate.
- Regular domestic travel to project sites required; occasional international travel for factory acceptance testing (FAT) or HQ engineering liaison possible.
- Must be able to attend live construction and energised-equipment environments (site inductions, PPE, and exclusion-zone protocols apply).
- Valid driver's license required.
