Employment Details
Type: Permanent full time, part-time, casual, and fixed‑term roles available.
Hours: Rotating rosters across morning, evening, and night shift, with flexible options.
Salary: As per Public Health System Nurses’ and Midwives (State) Award 2023, hourly base rate between $37.48 – $58.83 ($74,060.48 – $116,248.08) depending on experience.
Location: Mercy Care Centre, Young, NSW, Australia.
Visa Sponsorship: Subclass 482 available for suitably experienced Registered Nurses.

Our vibrant 26‑bed inpatient service specializes in Rehabilitation and Palliative Care, offering a supportive, patient‑centred environment where staff can make a meaningful difference daily.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside experienced clinicians who value teamwork and high‑quality care.
- Develop broad, adaptable clinical skills across rehabilitation and palliative care specialties.

Qualifications and Competencies
- Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
- Previous experience in acute, sub‑acute, rehabilitation, or aged care within Australia.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, able to respond confidently in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team.
- Flexible and adaptable approach, able to work across diverse clinical presentations and patient needs.
- Team-oriented mindset, contributing positively to team culture and shared clinical decision‑making.
- Commitment to continuous learning, quality improvement, and evidence‑based practice.
