As a Senior Process Operator (2IC) at our Gruyere mine site, you’ll be hands‑on in day‑to‑day plant operations while providing vital support to the Process Shift Supervisor to safely meet production targets. The role is offered on an 8:6/7:7 roster.

What you will be doing:

- Support and provide coverage for the Shift Supervisor when required.
- Lead by example in promoting a robust safety culture and living our Vital Behaviours.
- Operate and monitor plant equipment across all processing areas.
- Coordinate daily work activities, including unplanned tasks, reports and checklists.
- Liaise with Metallurgy and Maintenance teams to optimise performance and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate production data and shift reporting.
- Identify improvement opportunities to improve team efficiency and capability.

About you:

- Senior Process Technician with significant gold processing experience.




- Demonstrates an uncompromising commitment to safety.
- Proven leader who proactively approaches coaching and mentoring others.
- Statutory 26 Supervisor Certificate would be advantageous.
- Developed troubleshooting and problem solving skills in operations and leadership.
- Experienced with crushing, grinding. CIL / CIP, control room and gold room operation.
- Confident and consistent communicator.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and databases.
- Valid C Class Driver’s Licence as a minimum.
