This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished Tax Partner or senior Tax Director to join an established, highly regarded advisory firm and play a central role in the continued growth of its tax practice.

The firm advises a sophisticated client base spanning ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, financial services, funds management, private equity and privately owned businesses. Its work is complex, commercial and relationship-led, extending well beyond tax compliance into structuring, transactions, investments, succession and long-term strategic advice.

With an established platform, strong referral relationships and ambitious plans for growth, the firm is seeking a senior tax professional who can further develop its tax capability, deepen key client relationships and help shape the future direction of the broader business.

The opportunity

Working alongside the existing Partner group, the successful individual will:

- Lead complex tax advisory engagements across private clients, family offices, investment groups, funds management and private equity
- Advise on complex investment, ownership and operating structures
- Support clients through transactions, restructures, acquisitions, divestments and other significant commercial events
- Develop enduring relationships with clients who value commercial, considered and highly personalised advice
- Originate new opportunities through an established skilled network and trusted market relationships
- Work collaboratively across tax, accounting, business advisory and outsourced finance services
- Build and develop a high-performing tax team
- Contribute to the strategic direction, growth and commercial performance of the firm




- Progress towards meaningful equity participation based on sustained contribution and business performance

Candidates are likely to bring:

- Significant Australian tax advisory experience gained within a leading professional services or specialist advisory firm
- Strong expertise across private clients, family offices, financial services, funds management, private equity or complex investment structures
- Established senior client relationships and a demonstrable ability to originate, retain and grow revenue
- The commercial credibility to advise sophisticated clients on complex and often sensitive matters
- A collaborative, low-ego leadership style and the ability to build trusted relationships across the firm
- The ambition to create long-term value rather than simply inherit a title
