Salary Casual Teacher $115.33 gross per hour (TAFE Queensland Educators’ Certified Agreement 2023) Teacher (full-time equivalent) $92,930 - $122,084 gross per annum (TAFE Queensland Educators’ Certified Agreement 2023) Mandatory Requirements Applicants must possess one or more of the qualifications below: MEM31419 Certificate III in Engineering – Fixed and Mobile Plant AUR30420 – Certificate III in Agricultural Mechanical Technology AUR31120 Certificate III in Heavey Commercial Vehicle

AUR31220 Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology Applicants Must Also Possess The Following current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;

current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;

evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment;

current Queensland Driver’s licence current Blue Card or Exemption Card (or ability to obtain prior to commencement), to comply with the Working with Children Check Act 2000 . Additionally, to become a TAFE Teacher,



you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials: TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or

TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (or TAELLN401A) and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools (or TAESS502A or TAEASS502B); or

TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or

TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; or

TAE50211 Diploma of Training Design and Development; or

TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development or its successor; or A higher-level qualification in adult education (approved by TAFE Queensland).
