At dc+b, we consult + measure + design + craft + deliver. We are currently looking for a full time Window Covering Installer/Flooring Layer to join our Shepparton team.
About the role
As a Window Covering Installer you will be responsible for installing a wide range of window coverings including blinds, shutters, drapes, outdoor blinds and awnings, for both residential and commercial clients. You will also be assisting our qualified flooring layers to lay carpet, floorboards, vinal planks and hybrid flooring.
Duties
- Install a variety of window coverings and assist in floor laying, according to client specifications and company standards.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation and make necessary adjustments.
- Communicate with clients and sales team regarding installation timelines and any potential issues in a skilled and courteous manner.
- Ensure that all installations are completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed
Skills & Experience
- Experience in window installation/floor laying is preferred but not essential as on the job training will be provided by our qualified installers/layers.
- Experience using hand and power tools including drills, saws and levels.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail and able to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
