Join our friendly team at Kingsley Aged Care home as a Casual Kitchen Hand , where you’ll help create a welcoming dining experience for our residents. With multiple casual roles available, applicants must be available to work from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm across the week .
About You
- Possess a passion for or previous experience working as a Kitchen Hand, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)
The Role
- Ensuring responsible work practices of food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ensuring required ingredients are available daily
- Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals
- Maintaining all utensils, equipment, work benches and general surrounds in a clean and safe condition
- Collecting and washing pots, pans, crockery and cutlery
