We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Cost Controller to join the Cost Control team on our New Women and Babies Hospital projects in Perth! In this role, you will provide timely and accurate cost analysis and reporting including productivity and other measures in order to support timely decisions on matters affecting cost outcomes.

WeBuild is delivering the design and construction of the Women and Babies Hospital in Perth, Western Australia. This landmark project will replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and expand services and choice for women, newborns and families, delivering lasting benefits and a positive legacy for the people of Western Australia.

Your focus will include:

- Commitment Based Cost Reporting — budget vs. committed vs forecast.
- Prepare and analyse cost reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Work closely with construction, procurement & commercial teams to monitor budgets, commitments, expenditures & forecasts
- Accurate cost control information including detailed analysis of budget, commitments, expenditure, forecasting & change control.
- Monitor and track project costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints
- Liaise with Planning to integrate cost, physical progress, and productivity metrics

What you will bring to the team:

- Proven experience in large-scale construction projects, with experience on major Infrastructure projects or Vertical Buildings developments highly desired
- Prior experience in cost control and analysis within a project delivery environment is advantageous
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Controls, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Civil Engineering or Estimating background preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel




- Basic knowledge of ERP software (SAP and/or Oracle) and project control software
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Strong reporting and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate key cost, progress, and performance insights to project teams and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple active packages simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
