THE ROLE

- Lead end‑to‑end fortnightly payroll processing for approximately 1000+ employees
- Manage, mentor and develop a payroll team of 3
- Act as the escalation point for complex payroll queries and payroll matters
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements,



Superannuation and Taxation obligations
- Oversee payroll audits, reconciliations, controls and reporting
- Coordinate annual remuneration review processes
- Own payroll systems, integrations and data integrity across HR and finance systems
- Drive process improvements, automation and efficiencies
- Lead payroll system upgrades, testing and enhancements
- Partner closely with Finance, IT and People & Culture stakeholders to improve payroll outcomes
- Maintain a high level of payroll service delivery and customer support across the business

THE PERSON

- Extensive Australian payroll experience with strong end‑to‑end knowledge
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements and compliance
- Dayforce experience is highly regarded
- Demonstrated process improvement and systems optimisation experience
- High attention to detail and critical thinking capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Full working rights as this is a permanent position
