About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Engaging, educating, and coaching the workforce and management team on environmental requirements through pre-start/toolbox talks and similar activities.
- Assisting the HSE Manager in leading the environmental team in industry best practice.
- Assisting in the production of project procedures, policies, and practices related to the setting, sustainability efforts and emissions targets.
- Ensuring project documentation is kept current and reflects the latest sector‑specific regulations, standards, and practices.
- Ensuring improvement actions are implemented to requirements, monitored, and continuously assessed.
- Maintaining environmental data and reporting systems (INX or similar).
- Facilitating the entire workforce, management team and the client in examining each stage of the construction process to ensure and improve environmental performance and compliance.
- Assisting in the identification of critical improvements and innovations in the planning and execution stages of construction to ensure total compliance, thereby reducing time delays and conflict regarding environmental management and compliance.




- Preparing weekly and monthly reports for MPK management and the client.
- Advising the project team on any environmental risks identified for the project.
- Assisting the HSE Manager with incident investigations and drafting reports.
- Facilitating and participating in environmental audits when required by the client or regulator.
- Managing immediate responses to environmental incidents (cleanup) and initiating and undertaking investigations and reporting.
- Assisting with HSE processes as required for operational compliance and implementation.

About You:

- The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience.
- A tertiary qualification in an environmental discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in an Environmental Advisor role or similar.
- Experience working autonomously in a site‑based environment.
- Experience with environmental monitoring, reporting, and data management.
- Past monitoring experience in accordance with compliance targets and regulations.
- Previous provision of environmental reports.
