About the Role

As an Anaesthetic Nurse, you will play a critical role in supporting patients throughout their perioperative journey by:

- Assisting anaesthetists during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anaesthesia
- Preparing and maintaining anaesthetic equipment and medications
- Delivering comprehensive patient assessment and perioperative care
- Monitoring patient safety and responding to clinical changes
- Collaborating with surgeons, anaesthetists, and theatre teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes




- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and compliance with hospital policies

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience in Anaesthetics within a hospital theatre environment
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement
- Recent perioperative experience and postgraduate qualifications (highly regarded)
