Job Description
We are looking for a Sustainability Intern to join our diverse Buildings + Places Sustainability team in Melbourne. This opportunity will work on a variety of projects including health, education, sports infrastructure, aviation, defence and datacentres.

- Contribute to achieving ambitious sustainability outcomes across a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects, helping shape more resilient built environments.
- Drive meaningful project impact by supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of sustainability-focused workstreams and key deliverables.
- Act as a connector and collaborator, using your communication and interpersonal skills to support both internal teams and client-facing work.
- Develop your skills through mentorship, learning from experienced team members while actively contributing to a team-oriented and inclusive team culture.

Qualifications
- Summer Intern attributes: Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment. You'll bring strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
- Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Engineering, Sustainability, the Built Environment or other relevant discipline.
- Commencement: Able to work full time hours from mid November 2026 – mid February 2027.
- Working Rights: Candidates must hold Australian citizenship and be eligible to obtain the required Defence Security Clearance for this role.
