Carlson Software is seeking a Land Surveyor, Civil Engineer, Construction/CAD professional to join the team in a highly technical position with a focus on sales and support. This involves getting out to meet with customers in Australia to sell, support, and teach Carlson products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD software and familiarity with the Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, and Construction industries. This person will be responsible for the sales of the entire land development product line including instrumentation and software.

The role will be responsible for managing our growing network of dealers in this region, as well as direct sales and support for current users, workshops and other training events, attending regional events, coordination with the Carlson marketing team, and serving as Carlson’s feet-on-the-ground resource for the region.





Requirements (Must Have Experience) :

2+ years of CAD software experience

2+ years as a Surveyor, Civil Engineer, EIT, SIT or CAD Designer

Experience with both office and fieldwork

Ability to travel regularly (Idaho, Oregon, and Washington)

Ability to work on diverse tasks in a fast-paced workplace with minimal supervision

Must speak fluent English

Knowledge of Carlson Software’s software and hardware products

Experience with technical support of hardware and software

Experience developing sales network

Strong communication, presentation, and demonstration skills

Experience in training and instruction
