Technical SEO Specialist

Role Summary

Matrix Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Technical SEO Specialist to join our growing team. This full time position is ideal for a professional with strong technical SEO knowledge and a passion for improving website performance, search visibility, and user experience. You will work alongside developers and digital marketing professionals to deliver technical optimisation strategies that support business growth.

Core Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and identify website optimisation opportunities.

- Analyse website architecture, crawlability, indexing, and Core Web Vitals.

- Implement and maintain technical SEO best practices across multiple websites.

- Collaborate with developers to resolve technical SEO issues and improve website performance.

- Monitor organic search performance and prepare regular SEO reports.

- Perform keyword research and competitor analysis to support SEO strategies.

- Maintain XML sitemaps, robots.txt files, structured data, and other technical SEO elements.

- Keep up to date with search engine algorithm changes and recommend appropriate improvements.

Essential Skills





- Previous experience in Technical SEO or a related digital marketing role.

- Strong understanding of website architecture, indexing, crawling and on-page optimisation.

- Experience using Google Search Console, Google Analytics and recognised SEO tools.

- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is highly regarded.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Full working rights in Australia or legal eligibility to work in Australia.

Working With Us

- Full-time permanent position.

- Monthly salary ranging from AUD 7,500 to AUD 9,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
