For three years, we've been helping athletes, lifestyle enthusiasts, and individuals rebuilding confidence achieve their flexibility and movement goals through personalised, evidence-based assisted stretching services. We have delivered over 15,000 hours of stretches during this period an have 130 5-star google reviews - we know our stuff and clients love what we do. We now need to grow the team and we'd like to her from you.
Located in the heart of Bayside's picturesque Black Rock village—just 50 metres from the beach—we combine cutting-edge technology with hands-on expertise to deliver exceptional client outcomes. With plans to expand across Melbourne in the next 12-18 months, this is an exciting time to join our growing team.
About the Role
We are seeking passionate movement and bodywork professionals to join our wonderful team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, gain expertise and experience in the assisted stretching techniques, and be part of an innovative fitness modality that's transforming the wellness industry.
You will deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions, conduct mobility assessments using Human Trak technology, and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team of professionals from personal training, dance, yoga, pilates, martial arts, and physiotherapy backgrounds. You will build strong, trust-based relationships with some incredible clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mobility assessments using Human Trak technology
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions tailored to individual client needs
- Encourage and motivate clients throughout their sessions
- Maintain accurate client progress notes and documentation
- Consult with clients to develop personalised stretch plans
- Proactively build your client base and support studio membership growth
- Ensure client safety by adhering to StretchWorks policies, procedures,
and techniques
- Assist with studio tours, sales consultations, assist clients with using recvoery equipment and help with client bookings
- Support social media content creation and community engagement
- Participate in paid staff meetings and training sessions
- Assist with studio maintenance and cleaning between sessions
- Support mobile events and outreach services from time to time
- Work flexible shifts including opening and closing the studio as rostered
Requirements
Qualifications (minimum one of the following):
- Certificate IV in Fitness
- Certification IV Massage Therapy OR Diploma of Remedial Massage
- Pilates Certification
- Currently enrolled or recent graduate in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Sports Science, or similar
- Equivalent recognised qualifications in bodywork or movement disciplines (circus, dance, acrobatics, kinesiology)

- Demonstrated passion for helping people improve wellness, mobility, flexibility, and recovery
- Experience working hands-on with clients in a fitness, health, or bodywork environment
- Availability and willing to commit at least 3 or 4 four-hour shifts per week
- Reliable, efficient, and pro-active work ethic showing a strong commitment to your own development
- Warm, confident, enthusiastic, authentic, and caring approach with clients
- Commitment to supporting our marketing strategy and content generation
- Commitment to supporting efficient studio operations by competing timely and accurate client admin eg maintain client records and keeping your availabilities up to date to assist shift planning
- Strength and endurance - capable of sustaining the physical and emotional loads attached to working in a one on one assisted stretch setting noting our training focuses on safe, sustainable techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills including being responsive to essential communications
- Valid Australian work authorisation (including appropriate visa if applicable)
- Commitment to completing our training program:
- 15-20 hours of online tutorials
- 2-day in-studio training program
- Up to 20 hours of post-training quality assurance and supervised practice
Highly Desirable
- Physiotherapy background
- Knowledge of Health Funds and Medicare rebates
- Experience in marketing, social media management, or community engagement
- Sales and consultation skills
- Experience using CRM systems
- Ability to call leads and book appointments
- Full Australian driver's licence (for mobile services)
- Ability to support a new operation in the Mornington area - coming soon
