Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking a Leading hand Fitter Machinist to join our high performing team in Salisbury South.

Operating within our team, you will assist with the co-ordination of site and workshop activities to ensure work is completed to the required standard, on-time, within budget and without injuries or incidents.

Your Tasks

- Lead a team of Technicians / apprentices and maximize productivity of workshop
- Oversee day-to-day activities for the shift to ensure work complies with procedures.
- Repair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders
- Cleaning and preparing components
- Assemble and testing of cylinders
- Attend and participate in toolbox talks

About You

- Relevant Mechanical Trade (essential)




- Previous experience in a leading hand role.
- Solid understanding of hydraulic cylinder clearances and tolerances (Desirable)
- Understanding of the re-manufacture process including fitting, machining, and welding
