Interior Designer - Workplace specialist

About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for a talented Interior Designer to join a well-established design and construction team delivering high-quality commercial interior projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through to documentation while working collaboratively within a fast-paced, supportive environment.

The successful candidate will bring strong technical capability in Revit, excellent design sensibility, and a proactive approach to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop creative and practical interior design solutions for commercial fit-out projects.
- Prepare concept designs, space planning layouts, and presentation material.
- Produce accurate Revit models and detailed documentation suitable for construction.
- Coordinate with architects, project managers, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the design process.
- Prepare finishes schedules, joinery details, and documentation packages.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian standards, building codes, and client requirements.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and design workshops as required.
- Assist with material selections, specifications, and product research.
- Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, deadlines, and budgets.




- Support the delivery of projects from initial brief through to completion.

Skills & Experience

- Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or a related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, with the ability to produce high-quality documentation.
- Experience preparing construction documentation and detailed design packages.
- Strong understanding of Australian building regulations and construction methodologies.
- Excellent space planning and design presentation skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management.
- Experience within workplace, hospitality, education, retail, or commercial fit-out sectors.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, Lumion, or similar visualisation software.
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.
