About The Role

We have an opportunity for a lawyer (1–2 year PQE) or associate (2–4 year PQE) to join our Health team on a full‑time basis.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

- Defending claims for negligence against doctors, nurses, hospitals, and health services
- Gathering medical evidence, investigating liability, and assessing the quantum of the claim
- Opportunities to assist in coronial inquests/investigations

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- A Bachelor of Laws (or equivalent) and a current New South Wales practising certificate




- Experience in defendant medical negligence litigation and coronial inquests
- Experience managing litigated matters across a variety of jurisdictions
- Client‑facing experience, with the ability to understand and manage client needs
- A commercial approach, with the ability to articulate advice clearly and negotiate effectively
- Excellent technical skills, with the ability to manage a busy workload
