Radiam Early Learning, trading as Sagewood Early Learning, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis . Based in Harrisdale, WA 6112, this role offers a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children during their critical early developmental years. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for creating nurturing, stimulating learning environments where children can develop socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically. This position plays a vital role in our commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and care.

What you’ll be doing

- Planning and implementing play-based learning experiences that support children’s development across all developmental domains
- Creating safe, inclusive and welcoming classroom environments that promote curiosity, creativity and exploration
- Observing and assessing children’s progress, development and wellbeing, using these insights to inform individualized learning plans
- Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, fostering open communication and partnerships with parents
- Supporting children’s social and emotional development, helping them to develop self‑regulation and resilience
- Maintaining appropriate documentation, including children’s portfolios and developmental assessments in line with early years frameworks
- Collaborating with colleagues to provide consistent, coordinated care and education across the service
- Ensuring the safety, health and wellbeing of children by following duty of care responsibilities and adhering to service policies and procedures




- Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting the continuous improvement of our early learning programs

What we’re looking for

- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (Diploma or Bachelor degree level) or equivalent recognised qualification
- Current First Aid and CPR certification appropriate for working with young children
- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting children’s holistic development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and team members
- Experience implementing play‑based learning approaches and familiarity with early years frameworks such as the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy childcare environment
- A flexible, cooperative approach to working in a team environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practice in early childhood education
