Position: Shift Electrician (morning shift & afternoon shift available)

Location: PMFresh –Colmslie, QLD

Duties and Responsibilities

Complete pre-start checks to ensure equipment is electrically sound.

Attend pre-start meetings, handover meetings and others as required.

Carry out scheduled work orders as co-ordinated by the maintenance planner.

Contributing to team projects and initiatives

Ability for troubleshooting production breakdowns and working with site fitters for mechanical issues.

Assist in set up of tooling as required to support the production teams.

Undertake asset inspections and interactions daily with the production supervisors.

Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are carried out within the deadlines.





Liaise with Supervisors to coordinate planned maintenance activities and ensure resources and equipment are available to complete maintenance tasks.

Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Complete test and tag requirements for site

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience

Recent FMCG experience in food manufacturing is preferable along with knowledge of GMP disciplines regarding food manufacturing.

Relevant tertiary qualifications

Electrical background with exposure to PLCs, HMIs, inverters, servo drives with a high-level fault-finding capability across these disciplines.

Personal Characteristics

Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.

Valuable Problem Identification and Solution skills.

Sound oral, written communication skills.

Sound numeracy and literacy skills.

Ability to work autonomously and within a team.

Sound understanding of plant and production hygiene requirements.
