Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer seeking a motivated and reliable Production Support Operator to join their production team on a full-time permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who enjoys working in a hands-on environment where quality, teamwork and safety are valued.

About the Role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the production process through a variety of tasks including material preparation, assembly and product finishing. This is a diverse role where no two days are the same, and you'll play an important part in ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Cut materials accurately to specifications
- Prepare materials for production
- Assemble and kit products
- Perform product assembly using a variety of tools and equipment
- Complete product finishing tasks including cleaning and packaging
- Work to production schedules while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Assist across different areas of production as required
- Contribute ideas for continuous process improvements
- Participate in ongoing training and development
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team




- Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- A willingness to learn new tasks and production processes

Desirable Skills

- Experience operating production machinery such as saws, presses, punches or wrapping machines
- Experience using hand and power tools
- General assembly or fabrication experience
- Strong manual handling skills
