About the Role:
We are seeking passionate support workers with community-based and/or aged care experience. Clients like routine and get comfort out of seeing the same people at the same time, so you will be assigned specific clients, and providing the services at the same time either on a weekly or fortnightly rotation. Reliability is KEY.
We are looking for a staff for morning care for clients in the Warrnambool region with shifts starting from 8.00 am to 11.00 am, 7 days a week.
You must be available for Morning shift, Personal care for a minimum of 2-3 days a week.
Morning care (personal hygiene, fresh clothing, breakfast preparation)
Medication reminders
Fall prevention and monitoring
Emotional companionship
Documentation and reporting of any behavioral or health changes
Meal preparation and food handling
Driver’s License & Reliable Car is a mandatory requirement
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
A Certificate III, IV or higher qualification in Aged Care/Disability
Recent Police Check (Less than 12 months old)
A current First Aid and CPR
NDIS Screening Check
Robust interpersonal and communication skills
