We're looking for someone physically fit and reliable to join our team delivering mattresses in our company ute from our recent factory in Gladesville.

This is a casual position, working Monday to Thursday (4 days/week), with the expectation and availability to pick up an extra shift or two on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, depending on the week's order volume.

About the role

- Assemble and package the mattress orders in the warehouse.
- Load the mattress deliveries for the day onto the ute
- Deliver them to houses or apartments
- Bring them into the customer's bedroom and assemble the mattress for the customer.
- Be polite, helpful, and professional with customers
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner
- Assist in varying tasks around the Warehouse before and after returning from the delivery run.

Some mattresses are heavy, though the larger ones are packed into two separate packages to make lifting easier.



You should still be physically strong and comfortable with stairs.

About the money

Casual Hourly Rates equivalent to the General Retail Industry Award Level 5

Weekday (Mon–Fri) : $36.59/hr
Saturday : $43.91/hr
Sunday : $51.22/hr

Performance Bonus Structure

On top of your award rate, you will progress onto a bonus structure after your initial training period, with the ability to move up the tiers over time.

Tier 1 : $10/day worked ->$1,920/yr

Tier 2 : $15/day worked $2,880/yr

Tier 3 : $20/day worked $3,840/yr

Bonuses apply to shifts of 3+ hours.

Example Weekly Earnings (Mon–Thu, 20 hrs)

26 hrs × $36.59/hr total = $951.80

Tier 1 bonus (4 days × $10) = $40.00

Total : $991.80

What a typical day looks like

- Start at 8:30am
- There are usually two other team members in the warehouse:
- One manages the warehouse
- One works on mattress components

- You’ll help assemble the next day’s mattresses (zipping, bagging, putting components together – easy stuff)
- Someone helps you load the ute
- You head out and complete 3–6 deliveries around Sydney
- Once deliveries are done, there may be a few small warehouse tasks, or you may be finished for the day
- Most weekday shifts finish between 3–6pm
