Estelle' is seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry cook to join our team in Northcote, VIC as a full time employyee. As a Pastry cook, you will be responsible for preparing desserts, petit four and baking elements involved in the kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a vibrant and creative environment.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and bake a range of pastries, desserts and baked goods according to recipes and presentations standards

Assist in the production of snacks and baked items on the menu

Ensure all food preparation and cooking areas are clean, organised and maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and safety

Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new pastry and dessert items

Monitor stock levels and notify management of any shortages

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Pastry cook, preferably in a café, restaurant or hotel

Strong practical skills in preparing, baking and presenting a variety of patisserie, desserts and baked goods

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and presentation standards





Passion for food and a commitment to using high-quality, fresh ingredients

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work calmly under pressure

Good communication and teamwork skills

Food safety and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain)
