We are seeking an experienced Teradata Data Warehouse Engineer with solid expertise in large-scale Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and a deep understanding of data lineage across complex integration landscapes . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Teradata , modern data engineering practices, and AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code to accelerate delivery, documentation, and code quality.

This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise-grade data solutions while ensuring end-to-end traceability of data flows across multiple source systems, integration layers, and reporting platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize data solutions within a large-scale Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse environment.
- Perform complex data analysis, data modelling, data profiling, and data mapping activities.
- Understand and document end-to-end data lineage across multiple upstream and downstream systems.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, analysts, and engineering teams to define data requirements and integration strategies.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes supporting high-volume and complex data ecosystems.
- Investigate data quality issues and perform root cause analysis across multiple integration touchpoints.




- Leverage Claude Code and AI-assisted development practices to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and technical documentation.
- Optimize Teradata SQL queries and database performance for large datasets.
- Contribute to data governance initiatives, metadata management, and lineage documentation.
- Support production releases, incident resolution, and ongoing platform enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Enterprise Data Warehousing.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Teradata Database , SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience working with large Group Data Warehouse (GDW) / Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments.
- Strong understanding of data lineage , metadata management, and data traceability across multiple systems.
- Experience analysing data flows spanning:
- Source Applications
- Integration Platforms
- Data Warehouses
- Data Marts
- Reporting and Analytics Layers
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks and integration patterns.
- Experience working with complex data integration points and dependency mapping.
- Ability to perform impact analysis for data changes across interconnected systems.
- Hands-on experience using Claude Code or other AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
