Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to support a data migration project within the utilities/energy sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing migration projects, a strong understanding of metering concepts (including NMIs, Meters, and Registers), and technical skills in SQL Server and Python for data validation, analysis, and test automation.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Test Analyst on data or system migration projects.
- Strong understanding of metering systems, including National Metering Identifiers (NMIs), Meters, and Registers.
- Hands-on experience using SQL Server to validate, query, and reconcile data.
- Proficiency in Python for data validation, scripting, or test automation.
- Experience preparing and executing test cases, validating migrated data, and performing defect management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business, technical, and project teams throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Experience in the energy or utilities sector will be highly regarded.
