Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Test Manager / Senior Test Automation Analyst to lead quality assurance initiatives, define testing strategies, and drive test automation excellence across software development projects. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end testing activities, developing automation frameworks, ensuring software quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing applications. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive experience in software testing, automation, Agile delivery, and continuous quality improvement.
Key responsibilities include
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance frameworks aligned with business and technical requirements.
Lead functional, integration, system, regression, performance, API, security, and user acceptance testing activities.
Design, develop, maintain, and optimize automated test frameworks and reusable test scripts.
Manage testing schedules, resource allocation, project priorities, and quality deliverables across multiple initiatives.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, DevOps engineers, and project stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Review business requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to ensure complete test coverage.
Monitor testing progress, defect trends, automation coverage, and quality metrics using key performance indicators (KPIs).
Manage defect lifecycle activities, including defect reporting, prioritization, tracking, verification, and resolution.
Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing into deployment and release processes.
Conduct code reviews for automation scripts and promote testing standards, best practices, and continuous improvement.
Mentor and coach QA engineers and automation testers while fostering a culture of quality and collaboration.
Prepare quality reports, test summaries, release readiness assessments, and executive presentations.
Identify testing risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards, security requirements, regulatory guidelines, and software engineering best practices.
Evaluate emerging test automation technologies, AI-powered testing tools, and quality engineering methodologies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance testing efficiency, automation maturity, software reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Agile methodologies, and quality assurance principles.
Extensive knowledge of manual testing,
test automation, API testing, performance testing, regression testing, integration testing, and system testing.
Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Robot Framework, or similar technologies.
Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or TypeScript for automation development.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, HP ALM, or similar platforms.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and data validation techniques.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an advantage.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
Robust organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple testing initiatives simultaneously.
High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering secure, reliable, and high-quality software.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and Agile teams.
