Customer Service / Store Assistant – Hardware, Building Supplies & Fasteners

We’re looking for a motivated Customer Service / Store Assistant to join our growing team! This role suits someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment, assisting trade customers, and being part of a friendly, supportive workplace.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our trade and retail customers at the counter and over the phone.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Serving and assisting customers with product selection
- Processing counter and phone sales
- Providing product knowledge and advice
- Assisting in maintaining stock levels and store presentation
- Helping with deliveries as required

This is a full-time permanent position — Monday to Friday, with some Saturday mornings. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will have:





- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A professional, team-focused attitude
- Basic computer skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A current driver’s license
- A sense of humor and a professional presentation

Experience in the following will be highly regarded:

- Hardware, building supplies or fastener sales
- Power tools and construction products
- Trade or building background
- Previous store or counter sales experience
