SSI SCHAEFER is supporting maintenance operations at a major automated distribution centre for Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) and is seeking a Trades Assistant / Fault Chaser to join the onsite team at Richlands.

This is a permanent position working a 24/7 rotating roster consisting of 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities You’ll be responsible for supporting the resident maintenance team within a live automated warehouse environment.

- Attend system faults and alarms across automated equipment
- Perform basic fault checks, inspections, resets and rectification tasks within your level of training
- Assist Mechanical and Electrical Technicians with preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance
- Support shutdowns, system recovery and operational stabilisation activities
- Maintain records in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Assist with spare parts management,



cycle counts and inventory control
- Participate in team meetings, toolbox talks and shift handovers
- Support system reliability, safety and operational performance

Experience, Knowledge, Skill & Abilities

- 2 + years TA’s experience (desirable)
- Must have experience using computers and technology to complete maintenance records, update systems, and accurately enter data. (essential)
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in automated systems
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Exposure to automated warehouse, manufacturing or industrial environments (desirable)
- Experience using a CMMS system (desirable)
- Mechanical or electrical aptitude, pre-apprenticeship training or technical studies (desirable)

Qualifications / Certifications

- Year 12 Certificate (preferable but not essential) or equivalent
- Mechanical or Electrical Pre-Apprenticeship (desirable)
- Working at heights training / experience (desirable)
- CPR / LVR training (desirable).
- White Card (desirable)
