About the Role
Depending on your experience, your duties may include:
- Fabrication and welding of steel components using MIG welding
- Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and fabrication plans
- Cutting, shaping and preparing materials
- Operating workshop machinery, grinders, drills and fabrication equipment
- Fitting mechanical and fabricated components
- Installing wheels, motors, augers, hydraulic components and accessories
- Carrying out repairs and modifications to equipment
- Quality checking completed work
- General workshop duties and housekeeping
- Working safely within company procedures
- Assisting the fabrication team to deliver projects on time
About You

Boilermaker / Welder Applicants
Ideally you will have:
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)
- Experience with MIG welding and steel fabrication
- Ability to read fabrication drawings
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering or heavy industry
- Strong attention to detail
Trades Assistant Applicants
Experience in the following will be highly regarded:
- Manufacturing or workshop environments
- Mechanical assembly or accessory fitting
- Using hand and power tools
- Measuring and fitting components
- Forklift Licence (desirable)
- Overhead crane experience (desirable)
