You will be ready to give 110% commitment to completing your trade to the highest standard, be enthusiastic to learn and able to follow instructions as well as take initiative. You will also be able to demonstrate maturity, respect and a ‘safety first’ attitude within an industrial workshop environment.

Salary
$79,500.00 Base Annual Salary (38 hours per week) + SUPERANNUATION + OVERTIME.

Requirements:
· 4-5 Years Experience in Heavy Metal Fabrication
· Trade Certificate
· Drivers licence
· Some photos/evidence of previous projects you have worked on.
All other training will be provided by Weldcraft
About the position:
You will be required to join metal sections and structures together using welding and bolting. You will select appropriate materials, methods, equipment and tools necessary to complete the job and use a range of machinery,
hand tools and welding equipment in structural steel.
· Studies blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
· Selects, cleans and prepares metal stock.
· Cuts marked out metal sections and shapes using hand tools and metal cutting machines.
· Aligns parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instrument.
· Joins metal sections using various welding techniques and bolting.
· Examines welds for width of bead, penetration and precision.
· Prepares all components for painting or powder coating.
