Popular family-owned bakery café located 15 minutes south of Brisbane CBD, is seeking a casual Shop Assistant to join the team at Yeronga Bakery Café. We are looking for someone who is quick paced and has barista experience to join us!

About the Role

The casual role will involve but not be limited to:

Assist day-to-day operations of the bakery

Take orders and enter in POS

Work as an integral part of the team

Communicate effectively and respectfully with guests, supervisors and staff. Work closely with store manager to potentially transition into an assistant supervisor

Ensure a high standard of bakery presentation and store’s cleanliness

The Candidate

Minimum of 1 year hospitality and customer service experience (preferred)

management and or Barista experience (large advantage but not essential)





MUST LIVE IN BRISBANE QLD.

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Own vehicle preferred but not mandatory.

Well presented with a great work ethic and a positive attitude

Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

Shifts are approximately 6-8 hours and flexible starting times including weekends.
Total casual hours vary between 20- 38 hours per week.

In return you will receive

$36 per hour + super (at or above 21 years old )

Additional $6 per hour on Saturday and or Sunday (at or above 21 years of age)
