Role Overview

Manning Aquatic & Leisure Centre is looking for energetic, confident and motivated people to join our Swim School team. Our swim teachers deliver swimming lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities. Successful applicants will be effective communicators who demonstrate a strong attention to detail, possess strong time management and organisational skills, and can work well in a team workplace with minimal supervision.

Skills & Attributes

- Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes




- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team

Qualifications

- Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
- Working with Vulnerable People & National Police Check
- Current Swim Teaching Certificate

Requirements for New Teachers

If you have recently completed a swimming instructor course and wish to undertake your required training at the centre, please contact us.

Additional Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to obtain a national police check and a Working with Children check.
