About The Role

We’re looking for a skilled and safety-focused Pipelayer to join our Canberra team. This is a hands‑on, field-based role where you’ll work on delivering critical underground infrastructure across the ACT and surrounding regions. You’ll be part of a crew building essential utility networks that keep communities running. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a strong team, and seeing the results of your work on the ground—this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

- Construct and install underground pipework and mains
- Read and interpret construction plans and drawings
- Work alongside surveyors to ensure accurate alignment
- Liaise with builders, plumbers, utility providers, and property owners
- Collaborate with internal teams including schedulers, field officers, and construction leaders

Roster: Monday to Friday with ad‑hoc weekend work as required.

About You

- Experience in pipe laying, trenching, excavation, and backfilling
- Hold relevant tickets: White Card, Traffic Management, Asbestos Awareness
- Excavator and/or HydroVac experience (desirable)
- MR/HR licence (advantageous)
- Reliable, safety‑focused, and a strong team player
- Comfortable working outdoors and across different sites
