CPM Engineering is a well-established engineering and fabrication business based in Gympie, now part of The Davey Group, a diversified Queensland manufacturing, fabrication, and construction group. We are looking for an experienced Sandblaster to join our workshop team.

The Role

As Sandblaster, you will be responsible for preparing steel and metal components for coating and painting to a high standard. Duties include:

- Sandblasting steel and metal components to specification
- Working closely with our fabrication and protective coatings teams
- Maintaining sandblasting equipment and work areas
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures, including correct use of PPE

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in sandblasting or surface preparation,



ideally in an industrial or fabrication setting
- Understanding of surface preparation standards for coating and painting
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- A current driver’s licence
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
