Our client is a cable manufacturing company based in Crestmead, QLD. They are looking for machine operators with LF licenses who can work on a fixed rotating roster (weekly).
About the Role:
You will be working with a team operating various machines (training provided).
This will be a long-term ongoing position to go permanent full-time after 4-6 months depending on your work performance and attendance.
Fixed rotating roster (weekly rotation) | Monday to Thursday roster (38 hours per week)
Week 1 & 3: Morning Shift
Monday to Wednesday: 6:00am - 4:00pm
Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
Week 2 & 4: Night Shift
Monday to Wednesday: 4:00pm - 2:00am
Thursday: 4:00pm - 12:00am
Pay Rates
Morning Shift: $33.38/hr + Super
Night Shift: $38.39/hr + Super
Duties and responsibilities
Operating and monitoring production machinery
Loading and moving materials using a forklift
Conducting quality checks on finished products
Assisting with machine setups and changeovers
Working with the production team to meet daily targets
Maintaining a clean and protected work environment
Following safety and quality procedures
General factory and production duties as required
About you:
Previous machine operating or manufacturing experienc
Product assembly experience.
Knowledge of how to use hand tools.
A forklift license is a MUST (no experience required)
Can work on a fixed rotating roster (see roster sample above)
Physically fit to do manual handling duties.
