Job Summary

Viking Plastics Engineering Pty Ltd is Australia's premier fabricator of grease traps, trade waste tanks, planter boxes/liners, and custom designed products. We are looking for experienced Plastic Technicians to join teams in Braeside, Victoria and Welshpool, Western Australia.

Responsibilities

- Set up machines for plastic extrusion welding of thick gauge plastic sheet.
- Fold plastic sheet to required specifications.
- Seam weld plastic sheet to create finished products.
- Produce plastic products to a consistent high standard; monitor and adjust machines.
- Reset and troubleshoot machines.
- Complete all safety requirement job specific paperwork; review job sheets/drawings at beginning of job.




- Ensure all allocated work is completed in a timely manner and to consistent high quality.
- Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Relevant Certificate III in Plastics or similar.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Plastics Technician, or 3 years’ experience in place of a qualification.
- Ability to work full time and meet production standards.
- Willingness to work in Braeside, Victoria and Welshpool, Western Australia.

Remuneration

$78,000 – $85,000 per annum.
