Job Description

- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding to a high standard
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
- Adhere to all WHS policies and procedures
- Work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

- Trade qualified Boilermaker (Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent)
- Proven experience in heavy fabrication and welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Robust commitment to safety and quality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Onboarding

All applicants must be willing to undergo a pre‑employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing, and present a trade qualification.

Work Environment

Permanent position in the mining sector. The role requires relocation to Mount Isa, Queensland.

Schedule

12‑hour shifts.
