Senior Planning Engineer

Reporting to the Underground Manager, the Senior Planning Engineer will lead the Planning Team and be responsible for delivering short, medium and long-term mine plans that support safe production, optimise life-of-mine performance, and drive operational success. This is an 8/6 roster, offering great balance.

About the Role

- Develop and deliver strategic, medium and short-term mine plans.
- Complete development, stope, drill and blast designs.
- Manage planning schedules, forecasts and underground budgets.
- Maintain planning databases, reporting and ventilation models.
- Review geotechnical recommendations and ensure compliance with site standards.
- Lead and mentor Planning and Junior Engineers.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities and support life‑of‑mine optimisation.
- Act as Underground Manager as required.
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site procedures.

About You

- Mining Engineering degree or equivalent.
- 7+ years underground mining experience.
- 2+ years in a senior mine planning role.
- Strong experience in mine planning across short,



medium and long‑term horizons.
- Proficient in Deswik (Sched, CAD, SO, MDM) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Current WA C-Class Driver's Licence, First Aid Certificate and National Police Clearance.
