Our next project in Western Australia, is an underground gold mining operation with an initial 8-year mine life.
About the Role:
The Service Crew is responsible for maximising the utilisation and productivity of mine service work and supporting the Shift Supervisor in coordinating the activities around the service work. The Service Crew installs and maintains ventilation and mine services to support high standards and levels of productivity.
About You:
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience operating Integrated Tool Carriers (IT’s)
- Experience installing, maintaining and repairing underground services, including air/water/pump lines, vent bags, temporary electrical cables, submersible pumps in sumps and mono pumps
- Previous experience assisting Charge Up Operators / Shotfirers with development and production charging (desirable)
- Commitment to ensuring the work area is safe for personnel and equipment after service activities have been performed
- Skilled in liaising with Maintenance peers to report mechanical issues to achieve required plant availability and optimise productivity levels
- Proficient in training other team members in all aspects of the Service Crew role
- Uphold high safety standards and a commitment to our Zero Harm culture
You will hold the following qualifications and licenses:
- Current Australian C-Class Driver’s License
- Valid WA Security Clearance
- Current Working at Heights Certificate
